An informative, engaging, free speech radio zone for women.

Host, Amy Reyer, Ph.D.The Women's Club with Amy Reyer is a radio forum for unfiltered conversations about womanhood. We want to hear from you whether you are a Republican, Democrat, or Independent, consider yourself pro-life, pro-choice, hyper-informed, or behind the eight ball, have kids, don’t have kids, stay home with kids, work full-time…and so on and so forth. I may not share your opinion, but will always welcome your perspective. Without being prescriptive, patronizing, or prudish, we aim to uncover the ways that women really feel about the world. We encourage callers to weigh in on current events, pose questions to authors and experts, and offer opinions on controversial as well as mundane issues.

The Women's Club with Amy Reyer started out as a television talk show in 2003 airing weekly on cable stations in NY, DC, MD, and VA until January 2005. As we started exploring opportunities in radio, we realized that there was a dearth of programming for women in the radio arena. We also realized that radio was the perfect place for a talk show that emphasizes intimate and in-depth conversations that delve beneath the surface of pertinent women’s issues. In addition, radio is the ideal medium for female listeners who appreciate programming that challenges them to think, encourages them to laugh, and offers them intelligent, entertaining companionship.

NATIONAL RECOGNITION-The program earned an “Honorable Mention” at the National Alliance for Community Media 2004 Video Festival.
